It is 98 degrees in NYC right now. My apartment has no air conditioning and I'm timing when I will descend into my second cold freezing peppermint shower of the day.
I am dreaming about air conditioning, ice, mint lemonade, picnics, lazy reading, cold ocean waters, friends, and sweet mangos.
Do you have any summer reading recommendations?

light clothing. tender coconut. buttermilk. don't know if they drink those in america. oh, beer would be my personal choice!
and no air conditioning for me - i am a little paranoid about being cut off from the outside, even if i live in humid conditions. funny thing, i had written about this recently.
