Birdbath Bakery on 7th Avenue South at Charles Street in the West Village in Manhattan has good, cheap coffee and good coconut cookies as well. I was introduced to it by someone I know who is very conscious about the environment. This place is vegan friendly, only uses local products, and is very environmentally friendly.
