I just returned home from a delightful brunch at
Le Grainne Cafe. My french toast (pictured above) was delicious, but the coffee and noise level need some improvement. It was so loud I kept having to ask the friend I was with to repeat what she was saying. But I'll give this place another chance definitely.
In that neighborhood I discovered a very cute European housewares store named
La Cafetiere. I loved the clean and crisp feel of the store and the beautiful glassware. The water and wine glasses I looked at were reasonably priced as well.
