I shot these while standing in the long line waiting for my cup of not good (but not awful) Hazelnut coffee. I still think there is no great take-out coffee on the Upper West Side.
I love this shot. There is something symbolic about it to me.

I definitely see the flower symbolism. Also, simple as it sounds, you'd be surprised how good the coffee in some of those breakfast carts can be. I've found some unexpectedly good cups at a couple of them.
